1. The wound will feel tight and painful 1 to 2 weeks after the operation. This is normal. The doctor will prescribe painkillers to relieve the pain.

2. The wound should be kept clean and dry. If the gauze is wet, please inform the nurse and the doctor will ask the doctor to change the gauze for you.

3. After the operation, you should lie flat on the bed, and bend your knees to avoid an increase in abdominal pressure if you want to use the semi-sitting position.

4. Usually, you can get out of bed on the day after the operation. When getting out of bed, move the uninvolved body to the side of the bed, lie on the uninvolved side, and start with the uninvolved arm supporting the body. When you want to lie down, sit on the bed first Side, support the body with the arm of the healthy side, and lie down slowly by the healthy side.

5. If there is tension at the suture or scrotum enlargement, you must stay in bed and get out of bed after the enlargement disappears.

6. Strengthen nutrition, should be light and easy to digest food.

7. It is not advisable to over-activity, running and jumping within one and a half months after the operation, to avoid constipation, coughing and crying, so as to avoid recurrence.

8. Wound care:

(1) The wound will feel tight and painful 2-3 days after the operation, this is normal

(2) Please keep the wound clean and dry after returning home, and cover the wound with cosmetic glue

9. In terms of diet:

(1) It can increase the intake of high protein such as dairy products, eggs, fish meat, etc., and can promote wound healing

(2) Daily water intake of at least 2000cc or more fruits and vegetables can prevent constipation

10. Daily life:

(1) Use your hands to press the wound when you cough suddenly or when you are active, it can reduce the pain of the wound caused by the force of the abdomen

(2) Avoid activities that increase abdominal pressure within three months after the operation: such as coughing, straining to relieve stools, lifting heavy objects, going up and down the stairs for a long time, climbing, cycling, motorcycle riding, running and other vigorous exercises

11. Precautions for drug use:

12. In the following cases, please return to the doctor immediately:

(1) Fever

(2) Inflammation of the wound, such as redness, swelling, heat, pain, and abnormal discharge

(3) Persistent vomiting or severe wound pain
